The Crafter and Transit aren’t much of an issue but the Caddy and Transporter to Courier, Connect and Custom should be interesting to see which way the new vehicles will lean too.

My suspicions are that the next generation electric & hybrid platforms are the primary target for the MoU. So not so much about the way they look...Ford has most to gain here in terms of tech but VW will make the money given they already have such platforms.

To be fair...it is probably a deal more relevant to Europe, Asia and the Southern hemisphere.

North America doesn’t have a van culture and is sceptical of any ‘work’ vehicle with an engine of less than six cylinders and a 0 to 60 mph time more than six seconds.
